Since 1987, they have conducted retreat pilgrimages to Medjugorje, Rome, Assisi, Fatima, Mali Losinj (Father Sudac), San Giovanni Rotondo, and other Catholic shrines of the world.

Sandy is the Director of Pilgrims' Peace Center in Crystal River, Florida. She has completed over 130 pilgrimages to Medjugorje, most of which have been humanitarian missions assisting the war ravaged victims and refugees located in the Medjugorje area. Sandy and Mike have delivered millions of dollars worth of food, medical supplies, medical equipment, building materials, and clothing to the victims of the war.

Sandy is the editor of Pilgrims' Peaceletter and a long-time contributor to Medjugorje Magazine. She is happily married to her "best friend" Mike.

Mike Tobin is also Director of Pilgrims' Peace Center. He manages the organization's many projects including the Spirit of God Free Clinic in Medjugorje, Project HALO (Help at Least One), and managing Pilgrimage Tours, the sister corporation of the Center.

From 1991 to the present, many of the activities of Pilgrims' Peace Center has focused on victims of war in former Yugoslavia, particularly those residents and refugees located in and around the area of Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Pilgrims' Peace Center was one of only a few American groups to deliver food, medicine and other life-saving items on a consistent, monthly basis throughout the war.

Mike and Sandy are proud parents of 3 fantastic adult children & the happy grandparents of 8 incredible grandchildren. They see in the faces of the children most in need, the faces of their own, precious grandchilden.
